Leonteq is expanding its collaboration with Finanz und Wirtschaft (FuW) and is now giving investors the opportunity to purchase a tracker certificate on the FuW-Eco-Portfolio Index.
Leonteq and Finanz und Wirtschaft have come together again to launch a new exchange-traded tracker certificate on an index managed by the editorial team of Finanz und Wirtschaft. The Eco-Portfolio is the third model portfolio – after the Risk Portfolio and the Value Portfolio – to be managed by Finanz und Wirtschaft. With the FuW-Eco-Portfolio Index, investors are offered a portfolio that meets environmental as well as economic criteria. The focus is on companies that pursue a CO2 reduction strategy. These firms must satisfy not only environmental but also financial requirements – including having an attractive valuation and a solid position in the form of a low level of indebtedness and good profitability.
Jan Schwalbe, Editor-in-Chief of Finanz und Wirtschaft, commented: “I am convinced that a portfolio that is focused on sustainability can outperform one where the environmental footprint of companies is not considered in the composition of the portfolio. This is precisely why we have launched the FuW-Eco-Portfolio and we look forward to working with our partner Leonteq to bring it to market in the form of an exchange-traded certificate.”
Lukas Ruflin, CEO of Leonteq, stated: “We are pleased to continue our collaboration with Finanz und Wirtschaft, a leading financial newspaper, and we are proud that we are now already launching a third tracker certificate. This portfolio, which is focused on sustainability, represents a very attractive offering for both our domestic and international clients.”
